About Cotswold Bike Works

Cotswold Bike Works, located in Bourton On The Water is owned and ran by myself, Scott Jones.

I am the current winner of Britain's best bike mechanic. Certified as a Cytech Master Technician and have also received Shimano Service Centre and Campagnolo Pro Shop training.

I work closely with Jozef Metelka, multiple World and Paralympic Champion in Track, Road and TT cycling.

My shop stocks parts and accessories to keep you pedalling, all fully endorsed by myself, otherwise I wouldn't stock them!

How To Book Your Bike In

I use an appointment system for all of my services and repairs which are booked online via the "Book Here" buttons found below with the service details.

Innertube replacements can just be brought in, but fitted in when I can.

When You Arrive

I will personally assess your bike when you drop it off and give you an estimated price, so you can be assured of no hidden costs.

An email will be sent when your bike is ready for collection.

Please be aware of my storage charges which are o my T's and C's below.

Bike Service

£130 - 3 hours

Recommended every 3 - 6 months.

This service is required for replacing standard parts like chains, cables and tyres.

Bearing replacements incur an additional cost, priced at 50% off my standard rate.

£260 - 6 hours

All prices quoted are for labour costs only unless stated otherwise.

If you wish to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please email cotswoldbikeworks@gmail.com giving me at least 24 hours notice before your booking date. You will receive an automatic reminder 24 hours before your booking so this is an ideal time to email me if needed. Failure to do so and not showing up will result in advance payment for future bookings.

Bike storage is charged at £10 per day. This will commence seven days after I have contacted you to confirm your service / repair completion.

After fourteen days, the bike will be removed and sold to cover my costs.
